The right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name

But when the fullness of time had come,
God sent forth his Son, born of woman,
born under the law,
to redeem those who were under the law,
so that we might receive adoption as sons.
(Galatians 4:4–5)

He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.
But as many as received Him,
to them He gave the right to become children of God,
to those who believe in His name:
who were born,
not of blood,
nor of the will of the flesh,
nor of the will of man,
but of God.
( John 1:11-13 )

For by grace you have been saved through faith,
and that not of yourselves;
it is the gift of God,
not of works,
lest anyone should boast.
( Ephesians 2:8,9 )

How Long are the End Times going to Last ( According to the Scriptures )?

We find several mentions in the book of Daniel,
and in Revelation as to how long the End Time Events will last.
Time, Times, Half a Time ( 3 1/2 years ) = Daniel 7:25, 12:7 and Revelation 12:14
1260 Days = Revelation 11:3 and 12:6
42 Months = Revelation 11:2 and 13:5
1290 Days = Daniel 12:11
1335 Days = Daniel 12:12

* There is also a "time" reference of 2,300 evenings and mornings
in Daniel 8:14, 26, but I don't see a clear connection to the End Times.
It looks to be literally normal days, since it references both days and nights ( 6 1/3 years ).
The time period covered, 2,300 days, figures to about 6 1/3 years.
Most theologians believe this prophecy was fulfilled before the birth of Christ,
during the reign of the Seleucid king Antiochus IV (Epiphanes).
Antiochus desecrated the temple in Jerusalem
and severely persecuted the Jews
from about September 171/170 BC to December 165/164 BC.
When Antiochus died,
the Jews purified and rededicated the temple, just as Daniel had predicted.
These events are commemorated in the celebration of Hanukkah.

Although, there are a few "theories" on it.
Seventh-day Adventists, interpret the period as 2,300 literal years.
Which they say "ended" in 1844 A.D.
In this view, 1844 marks the beginning of the "Investigative Judgment"
or the cleansing of the heavenly sanctuary, rather than a physical temple on Earth.
* Sounds to me like something they MADE UP when Christ did not come back in 1844.
Making up alternate "meanings" has been done by every person or group
whose "prediction" failed to turn out as they had preached.
I've got a long post on this whole "DATE SETTING" issue.
With several examples of predictions that did not come to pass.

Thoughts about approaching Asteroid 99942 Apophis coming April 13, 2029

Is the asteroid that was named Apophis over 20 years ago
when first discovered something we should be concerned about?
And could it be related to any of the objects we see falling from the sky
in the Book of Revelation?

These are only my thoughts and conjectures on the subject.
It has been on my mind since it was first discovered in 2004,
and I've been "keeping an eye on it" all these years.
April 13, 2029 is getting closer and closer.

Some of the Questions I will be addressing are:
1 ) How big is 99942 Apophis?
2 ) When was it discovered?
3 ) When is it supposed to pass by the Earth,
missing us by approximately 17,000 - 23,000 miles?
4 ) What would happen if it did hit the Earth?
5 ) Should we - Can we "trust" the official scientific version of what we are to expect?
a ) What is its projected path?
b ) Are we building rockets to take us to the Moon and Mars, or are we really going to try to intercept this asteroid before it reaches Earth?
6 ) Could the government be lying to us ( as they have done so many times in the past )?
7 ) Which passage in the Book of Revelation sounds like it could be this 1,000 foot object crashing to Earth?
8 ) Would this event be near the beginning or the end of the 3 1/2 years of Tribulation ( 42 month of the reign of the Beast )?
9 ) If so, how does this fit with the 1260, 1290 and 1335 days referenced in Daniel chapter 12 ( and the appointed Feasts of the Lord )?
10 ) What should we do to prepare ( since there will be no pre-tribulation "evacuation" aka Rapture )?

* NOTE: The Objects that fall from the sky in the Book of Revelation could be unknown until they suddenly appear.
Space is big, and our ability to see stuff headed our way is very limited.
Apophis could be a near miss, as they are telling us.

Okay.. let's go over the facts as we currently know them ( or have been told officially ).

# 1 - Apophis is estimated to be over 1,230 feet ( 375 meters ) in length.
I've found several different "estimates" of its length and size.
Currently all that we have are crude radar images of this object headed our way.

Roughly the size of the Eiffel Tower.
Approximately 20 million tons
Structure uncertain - Scientists make "educated guesses" sometimes.
Stony-type (S-type) asteroid made up primarily of silicate materials with some metallic nickel and iron
The structure, shape, density and surface of Apophis are likely similar to other S-type asteroids.
We will learn much more about the asteroid around the time of the 2029 Earth flyby.

Not big enough to DESTROY the Earth,
but large enough to "shake things up" quite a bit.

# 2 - It was first noticed on 19 June 2004, at the Kitt Peak National Observatory
Its provisional designation ( first called ) 2004 MN4
It later received the permanent number 99942 (on June 24, 2005)
Its discoverers chose the name "Apophis" on July 19, 2005.

# 3 - It is supposed to safely pass by the Earth ( 17,000 - 23,000 miles are the current range of estimates ) on Friday, the 13th of April, in the year 2029.
Just ask Google, and you'll be assured you have nothing to worry about.

# 4 - If it did hit the Earth the effect would be noticed on a Global Scale.
The exact effect would depend on Where it landed, the actual composition of Metals and the Angle of a Strike.

The scientific community meets every April to discuss the topic of "what if" an asteroid is about to hit us -- to discuss what could be done about it.
Here is a hypothetical plot they used in 2021 for Apophis,

# 5 The official track and predictions have "evolved" over the years.
The internet has many articles and videos on the subject.
The experts we are hearing from / trusting in,
could be mistaken ( not having ALL the Data needed to know 100% what is going to happen ),
or someone might be telling them to lie.
And since scientist are just people,
We can expect most to follow the "lead" of those above them,
and not question the data themselves.
Here is one such projection of the "path" it will take.
With the cluster of satellites included.

# 6 Could the Government authorities be lying to us?
Yes, of course. They have done this many times before.
The COVID non-sense in 2020 is a recent example.
Primarily, if they thought they was a chance of a Global Strike,
they powers that be ( whoever is REALLY in control in this World ),
would NOT want the public to KNOW.
Knowing about an event of this magnitude would create worldwide panic.
The Panic would cause more harm and destruction than the actual event.
Also, there is still "time" to find a solution.
As so many movies on this subject have shown us over the years.
It's also possible we don't have anything to worry about when it comes to Apophis,
but something is going to hit the Earth in the future according to the Bible.
And we know the Earth has been stuck before by large objects from space,
and it could certainly happen again.
It's only a question of time.

# 7 In the Book of Revelation we have several large things falling from the Sky.
The 2nd Trumpet has such an object.
Revelation 8:8-9 says,
 Then the second angel sounded:
And something like a great mountain burning with fire
was thrown into the sea,
and a third of the sea became blood.
And a third of the living creatures in the sea died,
and a third of the ships were destroyed.

The 3rd Trumpet sounds more like a Nuclear Missile.
The effects described make me think of radioactive harm that could result.
Revelation 8:10-11 says,
Then the third angel sounded:
And a great star fell from heaven,
burning like a torch,
and it fell on a third of the rivers
and on the springs of water.
The name of the star is Wormwood.
A third of the waters became wormwood,
and many men died from the water,
because it was made bitter.

# 8 These events all appear to be near the end of the Great Tribulation.
The last 5 - 6 months.
With the 5th Trumpet bringing torment that is said to last 5 months.
Revelation 9:1-12 discusses this first Woe in detail.
With verses 5 and 6 tell us,
And they were not given authority to kill them,
but to torment them for five months.
Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion
when it strikes a man.
In those days men will seek death and will not find it;
 they will desire to die,
and death will flee from them.

# 9 - We find several mentions in the book of Daniel,
and in Revelation as to how long the End Time Events will last.
Time, Times, Half a Time ( 3 1/2 years ) = Daniel 7:25, 12:7 and Revelation 12:14
1260 Days = Revelation 11:3 and 12:6
42 Months = Revelation 11:2 and 13:5
1290 Days = Daniel 12:11
1335 Days = Daniel 12:12

So, one possible theory ( again - just a "guess" ),
would be the reign of the Beast and the ministry of the 2 Witnesses ( both last 1260 days / 42 months )
could BEGIN at Passover ( 2026 ? or some other year ).
3 years later, the 7th Seal is opened.. the 7 Trumpets begin to be sounded.
And two weeks after Passover ( which is always on Full Moon ),
we have the New ( NO ) Moon date of April 13th, 2026
when the 2nd Trumpet "event" occurs.
Possible this Asteroid we have been "watching" for over 25 years
Apophis - "the destroyer".
With the following Trumpets occurring soon afterwards.
With the "Locust" ( 5th Trumpet, 1st Woe ) lasting 5 months
This could ( theory / guess ) put the 7th Trumpet
with it's 7 bowls of God's Wrath occuring of the last 30 days of so,
before Jesus destroys those gathered for the battle of armageddon,
see Revelation 16:16-17
with Revelation 19:11-21 details the victory by Jesus.

So, 1260 days is the length of the Beast's reign
1290 days is the end of all "these things".
1335 days could be the celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles ( in gathering )
6 months after the previous Passover.
* Again, this is all just a "crazy" idea in my head.....
You can tell me in a few years just how wrong this "theory" turned out to be.

# 10 - To Be Continued ( and revised ) soon.

Rapture is nowhere in the Bible

A viewer recently commented:
Rapture is nowhere in the Bible

Correct.

You will not find the word "Rapture"
in the Bible.
Nor will you find
the commonly held belief that this "event"
is a removal of the "Church" believers.
Yet requiring all the "new" believers
to go through the 42 month reign
of the Beast.

What we do see in the Bible is
the Lord returning,
and gathering
and transforming
the living believers
all at the same time.
see:
Matthew 24:29-31,
I Corinthians 15:50-52,
I Thessalonians 4:13-18.

We also see that His return is to be visible,
reference:
 Acts 1:9-11,
and Revelation 1:7
Two clear passages.

Unfortunately,
many have been taught a "myth".
Those who believe it
will likely "fall away"
when things start to get "tough",
since they were "told"
that it would not happen to them.

Correcting this "misconception"
is the focus of this channel.
Satan has MANY Lies he uses
to keep people from understanding the truth
about our God
our Savior the Lord Jesus Christ,
and the gift of Eternal by faith alone.

If he can't make you disbelieve the Bible,
Then he works hard at confusing the truth
with his many counterfeit doctrines.

If you want to learn more

Who is This Generation Matthew 24:34

Comment by @easttexan2933

The scriptures you are using (Matt 24:29-31) go on to say in verse 34 that that event would happen
in that generation of the disciples Jesus was talking to at that time.
That's why I don't fear "the great tribulation" because it came upon the first century believers.
But yes, all who desire to live godly in Christ will suffer persecution.
Jesus was speaking to them, not us, about this time period.
Remember the bible was written to them not us, but for us.
The catching up as it were, was fulfilled in 70AD.

Reply:
The many of the signs, particularly the cosmic ones (sun darkening, moon turning red, etc.),
did not occur in A.D. 70, and therefore must await a future fulfillment.
And I really don't know why you would think the "catching up" ( Rapture ) was fulfilled in 70 A.D.
I just don't see any evidence ( or scripture ) to back up this interpretation of Matthew chapter 24.
The temple was destroyed ( actually predicted in Matthew chapter 23 ).
And Jesus did specifically speak to the unbelieving Jews at that time, warning this would come upon them ( and their generation Matt. 23:36 ).
AND after that Jesus was answering the disciples' questions asking when is "Your coming and the end of the age"  ( Matt. 24:3 ).
He lists many things as "signs".
And the generation that sees the "signs" will also see the His Visible return to rule and reign.
Jesus spoke to them, and it was written for us, and not just "them".
And the future return of Jesus, and our gathering together with Him
is mentioned many times outside the Gospels ( 1 Cor. 15:50-52, 1 Thess. 4:13-18 ).
